Customer access
Hi, we only began recently to use EZrentout and are still setting up, learning etc. Now it seems that the companies I set up in customers have received an email, telling them that they could set up their account to purchase directly in our EZrentout. This is not what we want. We dont want them to see our stock etc. We want them to order in a conventional way and we intend to use EZrentout to manage what is in stock and what has been rented out to where etc. We are a technology start up and we do not…
1 voteThank you for reaching out and welcome on board. You can go to More > Alerts > Customer > select the alerts that you want to send and uncheck the ones that you do not want to send t the customers. Save your updated settings.

Thank you for the recommendation. You are able to customize the currency, taxes, timezone and domain name for the webstore to suit Australian businesses. I’d be really interested in knowing what else you have in mind for an Australian version?

Daily Sales report
I really need a report that breaks down each order received in a day so that I can put it in my accounting system. The report needs to should a summer of each transaction and what was purchased and with what type of payment

You can use the Reports → Payments Received report which tells you about all the details for the order. For separate items, take a look at the Order Line Items report.regards

print all stock item list
I'd like to print an item list for all asset stock report by category of all stock WITH IMAGE of the items. How can I do this?

You can go about creating a report using the Print Label feature for asset stock with images. Here’s how to go about it:
1. Go to More → Print Label Template → Add New Template
2. Create a canvas where you drop all the attributes on to the canvas including ‘Display Picture’. Remember these are the attributes you would also want on a report like ‘Name’ ‘Asset#’, etc.
3. Once the template is ready, you can go to your Asset stock listing from Items → Asset Stock → select all of them and send to the print queue. This will generate a pdf file including images and all the required information.
NOTE: setting up the template is a one time effort.You can print reports more frequently after this. See an example at http://faq.ezofficeinventory.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/LabelsPictures.pdf.

We're really interested in EZRentOut.
Sarah's main activity is surf lessons carried out on Saunton Beach in the UK, however she has a surf rental business as well which operates for 7 months a year only. We'd really like to be able to track all the kit,
Your Standard package at $50.00 per month doesn't provide enough features, however, your Plus package does have the features e.g. integration with Quickbooks, but the cost, $135.00 per month is a bit steep and probably aimed at a larger business with multiple employees.

Delivery/Packaging slip
A deliver slip with all the items on the order but no prices and a field for customers to sign when receiving the delivery

You can setup a delivery slip exactly like mentioned using the Order Printouts. To enable, go to Settings → Add Ons → Order Printouts. Once enabled, you can configure templates of these lists by going to More → Order Printouts. These templates are flexible and allow customization of any type of invoice/pickup list/rent agreements/receipts and much more.

I'd like to see the ability to add a company rather that just a first and last name. We often need to show our orders with a company name and then a contact...we could benefit from adding that field.
1 voteWe now have a field Account/Company that can be used for this purpose.You can also use the ‘Last name’ field to insert mandatory contact person information from that company.

bundles
I would love to have an expand or collapse view on my invoice for bundles that shows or hides everything in the bundle. We bundle large groups of items to make it easier for clients and ourselves, but the invoice shows all items, which some of our clients do not want to see.

Invoice Designer has an option to collapse items into a bundle on invoices (Settings → Add Ons → Invoice Designer → Enable and then from Settings → Designer → Edit/Add template for invoice → On Order Line Items section, click the 3 horizontal dots at the right → Select ‘Collapse Items in a Bundle’)Do let us know if you run into any issues or have more questions.

1. To enable order deletions, go to Settings → Order Deletion → Enable
2. Go to booked order → Cancel Booking
3. The Delete option should now appear on the top right -

API - Create Order
Hi,
I tried to create an order with an Asset through the API, but order is created without the asset. (I followed the example given in API documentation). Can you please send me a sample of this or how the assets are attached to the order through API?
And can you also provide "Order Update" method in the API?

create a crew assignment area. We often rent gear that is delivered and needs a crew person assigned to it. Would help for scheduling.
An area to assign a crew member or members when either sending out gear as a service, such as a live event or concert, or just renting a piece of equipment that is delivered, assigning the deliverer. We rent gear but mostly it is delivered to the client, not picked up at the warehouse.
15 votes‘Order Assignment’, ‘Comments for Orders’ and ‘Custom Fields for Orders’ were recently released.
- An order can be assigned to a user/crew member to make them responsible for that order
- Comments can be added to the order to detail the event work that has been completed. For example: collecting items, items delivered to the concert venue by Adam JonesAn other way can be:
- A custom field for orders that says ‘Assigned Crew’ (More → Custom Fields → Orders → Add a field)
- For every order you can enter the names of Crew Members e.g. Order # 31 Assigned Crew can say Emily, John, Bob, Alice

order asset quantity
Is there an easy way to add quantities to asset stock I add to orders without having to go to 'Asset Stock' and click add to order.
We have often orders with many different items coming from the asset stock. It will be very time consuming to add all of them through the asset stock window. So far I didn't find a way to add the quantity for asset stock. Include a new filter
I would like to filter only booked assets using the Asset tab.

Have the Order Status filter set to Booked.
It will list all items that are booked.
