    Thank you for your question. You can change currency by going to:

    Name > Settings > Company Settings > Company Profile > Misc > Currency > change the symbol of currency in field > Update

    EZRentOut only allows for 2 decimal places in prices displayed. Amounts entered at 3 decimal places or more will be rounded up or down accordingly (i.e. 2.533 to 2.53, 3.459 to 3.46).

  2. Glitch

    I'm experiencing a glitch. I had an order that had partial returns so a new order was automatically created. All items were then returned and the order has since been marked as complete however the items are still in status "rented out". How do I correct this?

  8. business accounts as a separate entity

    We are having problems with our business accounts transferring to quickbooks. We have businesses that have one AP department but several users or departments.

    We would like to be able to use the business account without a contact since is creating problems.

    All invoices from businesses have to go to one AP department but we get requests from different departments within the business so having only one contact creates confusion when the business AP gets our invoices.

    The ideal way would be to have the business account without contact and be able to manually enter the information.

  10. More than one day rental

    We will have 3 rental rates.
    1. Day rate
    2. Single day plus extra days
    3. Weekly rate

    The rate for more than one day is the day rate (full day rate) plus 1/2 the regular day rate for each subsequent day. Or a weekly rate that equals twice the day rate. We need a rate for additional days.

  12. 'Business Name/Account' as customer to charge in Xero

    Under customers in EZR you have a field for 'Business Name/Account'. It's this name that we want to charge all our Xero invoices to as all our customers are businesses (account holders) not individuals.
    If you can't do this can you please send me a copy of what you send to Xero so that I can get their team to have alook at what they can do from their end.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, businesses have orders created for them or be billed directly – customers act as the contacts for businesses as orders must be done to individuals. I have provided a link to our Xero integration guide that explains how this maps in Xero:

    Alternatively, if you are only dealing with businesses, you can set up your business as Customers by entering in the business name in the Last Name field, and entering the contact e-mail address for that business. This is work-around that some clients have employed on EZRentOut.

    It would be great if there is an option for lease. For ex. costumer is leasing item (truck or trailer in my case) . Is there any option for that?

  14. revert back to the old address entering/editng procedure.

    There is no option to edit the address under profiles. Only to add a new or select. We have entered all addressed to be placed perfectly on our invoices, receipts, etc and now everything has to be updated manually. This is very inconvenient

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback! Addresses can be edited by going to Customers > Customers tab > click the name for the customer to view the detail page > click the edit icon to the right of the default displayed address > you can edit the details of the address and save the changes there.

    could it be possible to add a filter to the orders tab that allows you to tyope and search by specific date? right now you can manually punch in a page number. it would be good if you could do it by date as well.

    Thank you for your suggestion! EZRentOut does currently provide a filter on the Orders page from the drop-down menu for “Expected/Rent Out Date” (fields for an order date range to search will appear in a pop-up window).

  16. Name vs. Description

    I was curious if someone could help me simplify the difference between Name and Description. What is the best form of practice of what to enter in the name field and then what I should elaborate on in the description field? I feel I could make better use of these fields when I'm adding assets.

    Thank you for your suggestion. Please note that this is already possible. Please go to More > alerts > customer alerts > select the “Order due today” or “Order Due in days” options depending on what you prefer. You can also edit the email templates to create an email alert that perfectly suits your needs.

  20. Add the ability to assign staff to a rental and travel costs

    When renting out equipment often times there is an attendant or more that must be present at time of rental. These attendants need to be a billable part of the rental as well as travel time to and from the location for drop off and pick up.
    The drop off and pick up charges can be determined by proximity to the rental store. For example: if I have a bouncy castle to rent out and it is 4 hours a way, I need a way to automate the cost of travel and the cost of someone attending the bouncy castle…
