Ability to add tax through the API
It would be very helpful to be able to add the tax rate on an order via the API.
We have different locations across two states and our current work around is adding a custom entry with the tax for the order but it is not ideal and makes reporting very difficult.1 vote -
Items shared between bundles
I noticed if you share a couple items between bundles, when you go to add the bundles to an order, the system with catch that the existing shared items are already in the basket, but will not add the remaining items in the bundle that are not in the basket. They need to make it so it will add the remaining items so it will catch ALL the bundled items even if shared between bundles...

More With Mobile App
i would really like to do more with the mobile app, like scanning a item and it pull up it details rather than just orders. i would like to be able to adjust inventory count and scan them in when it comes back to warehouse.

Emailing the rental agreement, quote and invoice using Electronic Signatures
Once a customer used the Electronic Signatures on Rental Agreements, Quotes, and Invoices. It will be very nice to be able to email them the signed document directly from an Ipad or an iPhone instead of downloading it then emailing it to them.

Where is the "knowledge base help" so I can look at things while setting up. I have to go out of the program into another internet page, I cant get there from EzRentOut. Also, a "chat" support line would be beneficial.

Item Tags
I understand that items can only be assigned to a single category, but would it be possible to assign "Tags" to items that then allow them to be affiliated with other items, searches, etc.
For example...
I have a microphone that I assign to category AUDIO/MICROPHONES. Using "Tags" I would assign tags to that items for "Sennheiser | Podcasting | Voiceover"
I could then have those "Tags" used for searches etc...

"numeric value" fields that can be added up
I ship a lot of equipment by freight and I am constantly calculating the total weight of what I'm shipping.
So I added a custom field to the assets and asset stock for weight.
If you guys could make this custom field "numeric" so I can type in a number, and under the packing list template, allow that field to be "added up" so that when I generate the packing list it will sum up the quantity of the items and the total weight of these items. This allow us to add fields that can be lengths, weights, and different…

Feature Request: Add another update button
Okay, I'm new here, but it seems that the 'settings' page could use an 'update' button at the top. If I update something at the top of the page, it seems odd to have to scroll down what seems like infinity just to click the update button.
Having an 'update' button at the top would be great.

Default Pickup Location Option
Allow for orders to have a "Default Pickup" location. We only have one location available for pickup, so forcing the customer to select one is an extra step in the process.

Minimum Order Quantity on Stock Assets
Provide an option for a "Minimum Order Quantity" on Stock Assets. For instance, we rent handheld radios and want to require a minimum order of 2 units since it's assumed that someone would need a pair in order to operate.

Sample import template
sample template could use more pre-defined categories to show you what you can upload. Currently only see 6 categories, yet your import guide talks about groups, locations, and vendors which I don't see represented in the template, nor do I know what your naming conventions are for those on import.

UI: Allow user to expand list when browser window is expanded
There is a lot of grey space in the margins of the EZ Rent Out UI. It would be great if the Asset list (or any list) expanded with the browser. Currently the user can only scroll left/right to see the different fields. The list should expand with the browser window. The unused grey space in the margins is useless.

Warn When Users are Unsubscribed from Emails
I can't count the number of times I've written an email in the in-app system, clicked send, and receiving a message that the user had unsubscribed from emails, forcing me to retype the entire email.
We should get a notice when clicking "send" which warns us that the user has unsubscribed from emails, allowing us to at least copy / paste what we've written into a different place before losing that work.

We are join 2 companies to share the objects we rent, but will keep separated operation, it means that we have to be able to know who owns each object, make and send different orders but reserving a shared pool of objects, including sharing the % of incomings because the company that capture the client will receive a part from the owner. Is the system able to do it? Do you intend to launch a native version of the system in Portuguese? My team don`t feel comfortable to use this automatic translation.

Sub-Rentals Feedback
As part of our organization we do a lot of sub-rentals. What would make EZ Rentout a much more lucrative product would be to add a location on the dashboard that tells us which items we are currently subrenting.
The only indication that we have that we have an item being subrented is on the invoice. It would be helpful to have a menu somewhere in a centralized location where we could quickly bring that information up.
Please get back to me if you think we can make this adjustment. From an engineering standpoint, it should be as easy as…
