    A customer should really be a company or person by option. If you choose the customer to be a company then you should be able to have contacts within the company that are individuals.
    In the order screen I would select the company as the renter, then if individuals at the company are saved it would have a second option for who, almost all crms function this way with a campany or individual customer option.
