  1. New Feature Request: Allow low-stock warning for bundles

    Hello,

    After a bundle is created, I'd like to set a low-stock auto-notification so that if the total count of available bundles drops below a certain number it will auto-notify me which components of the bundle are missing.

  2. Changing prices

    Is it possible to change prices within the body of the invoice/estimate for each client, we have tried to but it keeps reverting back to the price we input for the item.

  3. Create a Drop Down for Payment Method and be able to edit/add our own payment methods

    Currently we can only select Cash, Check, Credit Card, Other from the payment method. Create a Drop Down for Payment Method and be able to edit/add our own payment methods. Would like to add 'Square' as an example. We use a couple of merchants so would like to be able to separate these out.

  4. Change default new customer Country

    It seems that all customers default to the country of USA. We really would need to be able to set that to a different country (or if this can not be done, remove the default country completely.)

  5. Unique ICAL Calendar URL for Each Asset

    It would be great if a editable unique ICAL calendar would be available for each asset item.

    This would help not only keep track of the schedule of key assets but will help with consignment rentals. Say if the owner of the equipment scheduled the asset for use for a particular date, it would be great if it's also reflected in EZRentOut as "Busy" or under "Maintenance".

    Thank you for the suggestion. This isn’t a feature that we have on our mid-term roadmap but we’ll definitely keep this in our ice bucket and as we see more demand for the feature, we’ll update the plan. We’ll give you an update if anything changes.

  7. UK Localization

    I'm using the trial version at the moment and my gut feeling is that this is an excellent package. As a UK business, we would find it more convenient to have UK localization features - eg date format in dd/mm/yyyy etc and use of £ on dashboard (I know I can change this for reports etc).

  8. record of emails (especially with invoices) sent

    There is no way (other than notes) to see which customer was sent invoice or updated invoice. We make notes or copy the email but then it's out of EZ Rentout system. Can we have an access to History of sent communications?

  9. More With Mobile App

    i would really like to do more with the mobile app, like scanning a item and it pull up it details rather than just orders. i would like to be able to adjust inventory count and scan them in when it comes back to warehouse.

  10. add accessories to the equipment

    For every equipment there are certain related accessories without which the equipment can never be used. Creating a sub column that lists out all the accessories (especially for camera equipment) will prove to be beneficial.

  11. Use menu links instead of filters

    We would like the filters to be changed to menu links. Our customers are annoyed at having to turn filters on and off to navigate through our items and would prefer an industry standard menu link structure.

  12. It'd be great to have a better way to organize items in rentals list

    sometimes items in bundles are all over the place on the list. Can you add a feature where bundles are organized automatically on a rental list? Or the first items/bundles added will always be on top of the list?

  14. Cart bug on EZRentOut Website

    On the current EZRentOut website for the premium package we noticed a small bug. If a lead puts together a rental in their cart before they have an account, when they create an account, the contents of the cart is lost. It would be great if that information could be carried over so they do not have to reselect the items.

  16. Block out dates (and time)

    Our rental system does not count weekends or holidays as days rented. We also allow customers to pick up the equipment the day prior after a certain time and drop off the day after before a certain time.

    I understand that there is the function of setting rental dates and billing dates. But the issue is when potential customers were to book the dates on the website. Also it would be nice to not have to always manually adjust the billing dates.

    Thank you for these suggestions. We have two features under review for release in June that may be able to help you:
    - rules for weekend discounts: a discount rule (1-100%) for the weekend days in an order’s billing duration, which will then get adding as a discount line item into the invoice
    - default billing duration for flexible orders: this way, each web store order will have a default order duration (e.g. 7 days) and a default billing duration (e.g. 5 days) when placed.
    These features will have final reviews late May/ early June, at which point a final decision will be made. I’ve added you to the list of clients to be informed when these features are released.
    Let us know if you’ve any other questions or need clarifications. Feel free to reach back out to us anytime to ask about these features!

  17. remove fields that are locked on invoices

    for example I cant remove the line of discount from coupons. I know I can rename these sections but I would like to just turn them off, and free up the space from the long total Colum lines.

    The ideal way would be retrieving the orders that are booked. However, the JSON response when you GET an order does not include Order Status (Draft, Booking, Rented Out, Completed etc.).
    We’re working on including the Order Status in the API response. Will add more details by tomorrow as to when it’s expected to be out.

    We don’t have the API calls for Reservation Requests for now, The navigation is there by mistake. Will have it removed. Thanks for pointing it out.

  19. Purchase Orders

    You have an "Add Stock" button that the user can use to add items in their inventory, these are done one at a time. I would suggest that you move that button out to the inventory page, next to or bellow the Create Order button, and allow the user to select all items of which they want to add stock. This is referred to as a "Purchase Order" in other inventory software.

    You may need to allow the user to specify the quantity of each item they are adding. Also adding a report that will allow you to those past…
